Personal Finance Assistant allows you to set and monitor financial goals, create budgets and set up financial alerts.

Personal Finance Assistant, which comes at no extra cost to members, makes it possible for you to keep track of all of your finances in one place. The secure site allows you to  import credit card, bank and credit union accounts, giving you a complete overview of all of your spending and income.

To get started, login to Horizons@Home and click on “Personal Finance Assistant.”

Personal Finance Assistant: How-to

Creating a Budget:

  1. Click on the “budget” tab of the menu
  2. Select “add”
  3. Select the spending category you’d like to monitor
  4. Name your budget
  5. Select a limit amount for your budget
  6. Choose an account to monitor the budget from.

Setting Goals:

  1. Click on the “goals” tab of the menu
  2. Choose add
  3. Select the type of goal you’d like to set
  4. Choose which account(s) you’d like to monitor for goal progress
  5. Choose a goal completion date or a monthly payment you’d like to make toward the goal
  6. View goal details at the bottom of the screen

Adding an Account:

  1. Click on the three dots in the far right of the menu
  2. Select “link account”
  3. Search for your credit union, bank or credit card holder
  4. Select your account holder
  5. Login using your credentials for the selected account

Viewing Accounts:

  1. Click on the three dots in the far right of the menu
  2. Select “accounts”
  3. Select the account you’d like to view

Setting up Alerts:

  1. Click on the three dots in the far right of the menu
  2. Select “alerts”
  3. Select the plus sign in the bottom right of the screen
  4. Choose an alert type
  5. Choose when you’d like to be notified
  6. Select email or text notifications

Getting help:

  1. Click on the three dots in the far right of the menu
  2. Select help
  3. Read through the FAQ or submit a secure support email
