The On-line Bill Payment System is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except for unforeseen technical problems or planned maintenance, which is normally scheduled during low usage hours.

Horizons On-Line Bill Payment Service has no limit on the number of payments that may be made each month. Members who sign up for On-Line Bill Payment currently receive free service.

On-line bill payments are made electronically (to payees who can receive electronic payments) three to four business days before their due date.  Funds are automatically taken from your checking account four business days in advance of their due date.  Paper checks are mailed to payees who cannot receive electronic payments, five to seven days before their due date.  Paper checks clear your checking account just as if you had written the check yourself.   There is a default due date that appears on the payment screen when you submit payments.  If you want this date changed, you can input a different date as long as it is after the default date.  But remember, the due date on each payment determines when the payments are made and when the funds are taken from your checking account if the payment is made electronically.

Please keep in mind that the On-line Bill Payment Service is restricted to a member’s personal checking account.  In addition, payments of alimony, child support, taxes or other governmental fees or court directed payments are not allowed.

Sign-up information, Terms and Conditions and enrollment forms for the On-line Bill Payment Service are available at both Horizons locations.  Members may also view and/or print a copy of these materials from in our policies/agreements page or by clicking here.

Signing up for Bill Payment begins once Horizons FCU receives your completed/signed enrollment form.  In approximately five days, you will receive two important documents.  One will contain your user name for Bill Payment which will arrive via e-mail; the other will contain your password which will arrive via US Mail.  DO NOT DISCARD THESE DOCUMENTS. When you first sign on to the Horizons Bill Payment Service, you will be asked to enter your user name and password. Use the ones you received.  Once you have logged on, you will be able to change your password to one of your choice; your password must be 6-10 characters in length and contain both alpha and numeric characters.  User names and passwords are case sensitive.   Click the link below to review terms and conditions and to link to the enrollment form to print and mail to the credit union.

You must agree to the Bill Payer Terms and Conditions that will be displayed when you initially sign-on.

Once users have successfully signed on to the Bill Payment System, you will be able to set up your payee list by following a few simple steps.  It is important, however, to follow the steps exactly; otherwise your imputed information may be rejected.  The Bill Payment Help Button should be able to answer any questions you have about the service.
